CMI Education Vision Statement

We, the members of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) Congregation, after the example of our founder Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, consider education as the integral formation of the human person. Our educational endeavours aim at forming socially responsible human persons, who are intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy, secular in their thinking, and socially amiable, who will champion the cause of justice, love, truth and peace with an attitude of compassion to the less privileged and are ever open to changes and further growth.

CMI educational institutions are open to society at large by making our resources available for ongoing education and non-formal educational endeavours to make education accessible and available to the less privileged social sectors and communities. We expect the parents and students to share the CMI vision of education and to cooperate with us to realize the noble ideals enshrined in this vision statement.

To provide each student with quality education in a safe and supportive environment that promotes holistic development rooted in Catholic values, academic excellence and character formation
